Co-location We now offer co-location at our facility in Manchester. Your own server, in one of our racks, connected to the UK's Internet backbone. We can provide as much or as little support as you require - we can even build the server hardware according to your specifications.
Virtual servers If your requirements or your budget are more modest, we can supply you with a virtual server - complete control over a server-within-a-server. A virtual server provides nearly all of the flexibility of a dedicated server, at a fraction of the cost.
Server management Just to make life easier for you, we can look after your servers for you, and do as much or as little of this as you'd like us to. Why do tedious, difficult and very-important-to-get-right jobs when there's an expert offering to do them for you?
Internet hosting We can register your domain name for you, host your mail boxes, web site, FTP archives and online databases, and provide remote file backup services. And before we do any of this we'll advise you about the best way to go about it all.
Web development If you have the ideas and designs, we'll turn them into a web site for you. If you have the ideas but not the designs, we'll work with you to produce the artwork required. And if you think you don't even have the ideas, we'll guide you through the possibilities to find something that works for you. Whatever we do for you, we'll make sure that it meets the criteria demanded of good web design.
Internet development There is a lot the Internet can do for you; things that you may do already in other ways, and things that you hadn't yet thought of. There's a lot more to it than email and web pages - we offer backup, file exchange, and collaboration and database systems amongst others.
In order to provide you with the highest-quality service, there are some things we don't do.
We don't do everything, because we'd rather do things well If you want an ultra-cheap off-the-shelf hosting package, you're probably better off getting it elsewhere. There's nothing wrong with these products and many reputable hosting firms offer them, but our aim is to offer a service which meets your needs precisely, not roughly. It may cost a little more, but it fits a lot better.
We don't always give our clients what they want We believe it's much more important that they get what they need. The Internet services industry is awash with wild, buzzword-laden promises and unrealistic expectations. We'll explain what can and can't be done, what you do and don't need. By working with you and not just for you we can ensure that the services you purchase really do make a positive contribution to your organisation.
